Saying hello
- Felix
Good morning, Mr Schneider! It’s Felix, your companion on the phone. I’m an artificial intelligence. Do you have a few minutes for me?
- Mr Schneider
Oh, Felix! Yes, I always have time for you.
Your companion on the phone
Felix calls you regularly, listens and passes your feedback on to your home-care service. No app and no technology – just your phone.

Felix is calling …
Tuesday, 10:30 am
Hello Mrs Müller, it’s Felix. How are you today?
Not bad, thank you. My knee has been twinging since yesterday, though.
I’m sorry to hear that. Shall I pass that on to your home-care service?
Felix is an AI – and says so.
The gap
The carers come, help – and have to move on. After that, many people are on their own. Small things go unsaid: a new pain, annoyance about a visit time, a worry. They never reach the home-care service.
Felix calls between visits, asks how you are and listens. Whatever matters to you, Felix passes on to your home-care service – if you want that. That way, a small thing doesn’t turn into a big problem.
Example: Felix calls on the days when nobody comes round.
What Felix sounds like
Felix speaks calmly and clearly and gives you time. Here are three short extracts from typical conversations.
Good morning, Mr Schneider! It’s Felix, your companion on the phone. I’m an artificial intelligence. Do you have a few minutes for me?
Oh, Felix! Yes, I always have time for you.
How did you sleep last night, Mrs Yılmaz?
Not so well. I’m worried about my grandson.
I understand. Would you like to tell me what’s on your mind?
Were you happy with your home-care service this week?
Mostly, yes. But in the mornings they often come very late.
Thank you for telling me. May I pass that on to your home-care service?
Yes, please do.
In three steps
You fill in a short form – for yourself or for a relative. It takes about two minutes.
At the time you choose, the phone rings. Felix has a chat with you and asks how you are. Landline or mobile – both work.
Whatever matters to you, Felix passes on to your home-care service. You decide what gets passed on.

Yes, of course. Many sons and daughters book Felix for their parents. The only important thing is that the person being called agrees. Felix checks again on the first call.
